Ardival at festival Le Son Continu, 20178
The festival will take place from the 12th to the 15th of July in the park of “Château d'Ars”, near La Châtre, Berry, in France.
We will exhibit our harps at the instrument maker's exhibition that forms part of the festival. The festival itself will be a very lively affair with traditional dance, music sessions and concerts. This year Bill Taylor will be with us! Here is the link..
We participated in festivals in Berry many years ago. 2016 was our first return for many years. It was wonderful to greet people from that time and see and hear some of our harps again!
If you have never been before think about coming to try out our instruments during this convivial event. It is an international festival, and a campsite is provided for people coming from far away.
17 May 2016Fr.ardival.com is up and running!
Here is the link to our french website.
The site has been translated for us by Gwenaelle Huyghe an intern student of international business from Lycee Auguste Marriette in Bolougne sur Mer. We were very flattered when she contacted us and offered to work with us for a few weeks this summer but we do send our harps all over the world and it has been a very good experience for us to work with a young person from another country. It has also been a great help as we have prepared to return to Berry in France to attend 'Le Son Continu' festival which begins on July 14 2016!
Please join us there - where ever in the world you come from - it will be a very convivial time and there are instrument makers from all over Europe there to exhibit.
